Oaty Peach Breakfast

This dish needs to be made the night before to allow the oats to soften, but it is really quick in the morning as all you do is serve as it is, or add your favourite fruits and a sprinkle of nuts.

Ingredients Method

A bit of this, a bit of that

  • 250g Onken Strawberry Wholegrain Yogurt
  • 75g porridge oats
  • 1 large fresh peach, skinned, stoned and pressed with a potato masher
  • To serve:
  • Fresh peach, sliced
  • Flaked almonds or coconut

Step-by-step

  1. 1 Put the porridge oats in a medium bowl, stir in the Onken Peach Wholegrain Yogurt and the mashed peach, and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.

Cooks Tip: Why not change the flavour of this oaty fruit breakfast by using different yogurts and fruits. If you prefer a softer consistency to your oaty breakfast, add a couple of tablespoons of a berry juice to the dish and stir before serving.
  2. 2 Divide between 2 bowls, top with sliced peaches and sprinkle over some flaked almonds if desired.
